Intrinsically safe Duct Smoke Detector with Interface Module
POLYGON offers Intrinsically safe Duct Smoke Detector, specially designed for reliable detection of smoke in HVAC ducts in Hazardous area.
It consists of Entry Sampling Tube, Exit Tube, Sampling Chamber, interfacing module and a certified IS Smoke Sensor.
It can be used for any cross sections of ducts viz. square, rectangular, round etc.
It is provided with a DIN Rail mount Interface module which has an LED indication that switches ON when smoke is detected. It has one transitorized output to drive a relay, that can be used for giving feedback to BMS system for operating fire dampers & shutting off the HVAC system OR for connecting External Sounder OR giving feedback to Central Fire Alarm System.
Interface Module -
Power Supply: 10V DC/45mA (to be given through Certified ZENER Barrier (ZENER Barrier not inclusive))
Output: Transistorized output to drive Relay 24VDC.
LED Indications:
Yellow LED for Active Indication
Red LED for Smoke Indication.
Mounting – DIN Rail Mount.
SAMPLING System -
Mounting: Duct mounting.
Sampling Tubes – Anodized Aluminium 19mm dia. of length suitable for Duct (Pls. specify Duct size at the time of ordering).
Sampling Chamber – 160X250X90 ABS enclosure with Transparent Polycarbonate Cover.
